The Graphic Monkey was the first piece of digital art I created in 2001 while a student at Full Sail. He may look angry but he’s mostly harmless.
Prior to attending Full Sail, I was employed as a production assistant at WTXL in Tallahassee, Florida. During my time at WTXL, I learned every facet of live television production.
I started as a studio camera operator for the morning news program. When I left, I was directing weekend newscasts. I was also filling in for the 5pm, 6pm and 11pm weekday newscasts. As my time there drew to a close, I decided to expand my production experience to learning post production and graphic design.
I enrolled in the Digital Media program at Full Sail and focused mainly on Adobe After Effects. After graduation, I returned to Tallahassee and secured a position with the Comcast Spotlight Commercial Production Team.
While employed at Comcast in Tallahassee, I had the opportunity to explore several roles in writing, producing, videography, directing, & animating. It was there I was able to hone my skills from script to screen.
I have been using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro and After Effects professionally for the decade. I have learned nearly every aspect of the programs, and I continue to push myself to learn new and resourceful ways for producing animations, special effects, compositing, and other advanced video production enhancements.
I have also recently made the leap into web design and producing video for the web… starting with this very site.
Please have a look around and check back often as I plan to add more video and site designs.
